Congress.gov is a free legislative information website. A project was started as beta version in 2012. It was launched in July 2016. Congress.gov is a result of collaboration among the Library of Congress, the U.S. House of Representatives, the Government Publishing Office, and the U.S. Senate. It contains all information about Congress activities including texts, voting results, summaries, bills, and resolutions. Visitors can also find Congressional record, presidential nominations, and treaties details. There are online search tools to find the required information on Congress.gov. It is possible to search by number, fields across search collections, committee reports, treaty documents, and executive communications. Congress.gov offers an alert system to registered users.
